Ron Martinez is a longtime innovator in media, commerce, and intellectual property. He strategizes, designs, and builds all the InventionArts products and services, and also handles initial patent development and filings.

He’s a prolific inventor with more than sixty patents, and former global Vice President, Intellectual Property Innovation for Yahoo! Inc., where over a four year period he led the development of an industry-scale, forward-looking patent portfolio covering what proved to be a wide range of fundamental mobile, social, and media technologies and applications. A pioneering inventor and product innovator, Ron Martinez is Principal at Invention Arts, and Headcanon, LLC, a product and IP development company focused on generative AI. He is the creator of platforms such as Personify, enabling brands to launch AI-powered Personas for marketing and sales, Headcanon, a creator marketplace for richly characterized AI storytelling and world creation, and VŪFONIC, a personal and e-commerce music creation platform powered by AI. Previously, he founded Aer.io—a decentralized book commerce platform acquired by Ingram.

Headcanon.com is about world-building, character creation, and storytelling, where users can build followings, and even create and sell their work, or collaborate with others.

Unlike anything else, Headcanon is implementing advanced narrative simulations based upon decades-long work in animating autonomous worlds and characters in gaming, entertainment, and education.
